OUTER SHELL

• Homologated to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, the S-R7 features an advanced multi-composite shell construction using pre-preg epoxy resin for maximum strength and performance. Its carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers deliver lightweight yet ultra-protective performance with excellent energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.
• The streamlined aerodynamic design includes collarbone recesses on each side, fitted with two PLASMA inserts designed to offer high-performance shock absorption and reduce the risk of injuries during a slide.
• Engineered for exceptional visibility, the S-R7 offers 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision, enhanced by an optimized eye port and head position.

INNER SHELL

• The inner shell features a multi-density EPS liner with seven pieces in six densities, strategically positioned for optimal impact absorption. The EPS liner is engineered with a unique dimension specific to each helmet size, matching with the three different outer shell sizes.
• The EPS surface is flush and features Alpinestars' patented coating, developed to deliver proven rotational impact protection. This low-friction slip plane is designed to mimic the brain’s natural cerebrospinal fluid — the body’s inherent defense against oblique impacts. By reducing rotational acceleration of the brain within the skull during an impact, this technology helps decrease the risk of concussion and other brain injuries. The S-R7 exceeds the ECE 22.06 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 80%.

AERODYNAMICS

• The S-R7 Helmet delivers ultra-low drag and exceptional high-speed stability, reducing neck strain.
• Its aerodynamically optimized shell features an integrated spoiler developed to minimize turbulence and drag, while lateral winglets further enhance stability and further reduce drag.

VENTILATION

• The S-R7 is optimized for airflow with a total of 10 ventilation ports: 6 intake ports (3 in the chin guard and 3 on the top of the head) regulated by a slidable top vent mechanism, plus 4 exhaust ports (2 lateral ports on the chin bar and 2 at the rear of the helmet).
• The incoming air from the chin vents is channeled towards the inner side of the shield, effectively preventing fogging and misting.
• The entire top vent section is slidable, allowing riders to reveal three air channels for maximum airflow and cooling performance.
• Chin Bar Extractor Vents are designed to efficiently extract humid air from inside the helmet.

SHIELD

• The helmet is fitted with an ECE 22.06 homologated, optical Class 1 shield, with double-sided anti-scratch treatment. Shield thickness varies from 1.6 mm on the sides to 2.6 mm in the center. It includes pins to attach a Pinlock® 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens.
• The visor can be quickly changed or removed using a secure, tool-less quick-release system that allows pivotal rotation to ensure a complete seal against the helmet’s rubber window trim.

A-HEAD FITMENT SYSTEM

• The S-R7 features Alpinestars' unique and patented A-Head fitment system, allowing riders to fine-tune both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head. A micro-adjustable pad connected to the helmet's inner EPS liner enables an ultra-specific setup that adapts to how deeply the rider's head sits in the helmet and how far forward or backward it is tilted, delivering the ultimate personalized fit.

REMOVABLE LINING

• All linings are removable and washable, and feature fabrics with anti-microbial treatments.
• Cheek Pads featuring fitted 3D foam with channels to accommodate glasses, an Emergency Release System (ERS), and an integrated hydration tube channel.

A-CONNECT READY

• The S-R7 Helmet is engineered for seamless integration with the Alpinestars A-Connect Communication System (sold seperately), delivering advanced communication—including Mesh 3.0 intercom—along with premium sound quality powered by Harman Kardon high-definition speakers and advanced noise reduction.
