Normally Open kill switches are used to create an OPEN circuit when thelanyard clip is installed. When the lanyard clip is removed the circuitcompletes a ground stalling the machine. If you are unsure if your machineis a Normally Open or Normally Closed system please consult a factoryservice manual.
