The fuel filter is the fuel systems defence againstcontamination from dirt and dust or particles in pump gas over time yourfuel filter will clog as it filtrates your fuel restricing flow and causingyour fuel pump to work under additional stress which can cause prematurefailure. Replacing your fuel filter is inexpensive preventative maintenancewhich improves fuel quality fuel flow and increases the life of your fuelpump. It is recommended to replace the fuel filter every 6-12 monthsdependent on application and usage.
