The strap is compatiblewith both the front and rear wheels (front wheel is dependent on the mudguarddesign/clearance) and is designed to secure your bike without compressing thesuspension while also preventing unnecessary damage to the paint and fairing.Securing the rear wheel prevents it from bouncing around during transportationwhich can lead to the front straps loosening and the bike falling over oroff.
